Honour released its newest truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones, the Honour Choice Earbuds X5, on Thursday. During a live YouTube launch event, the earphones made their debut alongside the Honour X9b smartphone and the Honour Choice Watch. Active noise cancellation (ANC) and in-ear design are features of the Earbuds X5. The earphones have an IP54 classification for dust and water resistance and 10mm drum drivers. With the charging case, Honour claims that the latest in wireless earphones can last up to 35 hours on a single charge.

Priced at 1,999 rupees, the Honour Choice Earbuds X5. Exclusively available on Amazon, major department stores, and the Explore Honour website, the earphones will go on sale on February 16 at 12 p.m. Only one colorway—white—will be offered for the Earbuds X5.

The Honour Choice Earbuds have an in-ear design and an active noise cancellation level of up to 30dB. Additionally, the ANC has an Ambient Sound Transmission mode that raises the user’s awareness of background noise. The earphones have two microphones with environmental noise cancellation (ENC) and allow users to answer calls hands-free. The earphones also come with a Low-Latency Game Mode, which is designed to reduce the latency between audio and video when playing games.
With support for SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs, the Earbuds X5 boast 10mm drum drivers. With the charging case that comes with the earphones, Honour claims that the battery life can last up to 35 hours, which includes up to nine hours of continuous playback and eighteen hours of talk time. While the charging case includes a 460mAh battery and charges using a USB Type-C port, the buds have a 45mAh battery. Honour claims that the earphones require up to two hours to fully charge.
In addition, the wireless earphones have touch controls for answering calls, changing between ANC modes, and pause and resume music. The Honour earphones have Bluetooth 5.3 compatibility for connectivity. The Honour AI space app allows users to pair the earphones with smartphones as well. In terms of dust and water resistance, the earphones have an IP54 rating. The combined weight of the earbuds and case is 50g, with each earbud weighing 4.26g.
