Xiaomi is set to launch the Redmi Note 10 on March 4. Now an image leaked online revealing major details on the device including the display, battery and charging, camera and the processor. From the leaked photo we can see that the device will be using a Snapdragon 678 processor, which is a slightly enhanced Snapdragon 675, a 11nm chipset. The overclocked main CPU dual core cluster will be running at 2.2 GHz. The battery is a 5000 mAh one with a 33W fast charging. The battery capacity is is slightly smaller than the previous Redmi Note 9 (which had a 5020mAh battery). But 33W fast charging is pretty impressive and the Redmi Note 10 will be the first non-pro Redmi note smartphone to come with such advanced charging speeds. So that makes a first.
The leaked image also reveals that the Redmi Note 10 will be coming with a 6.43″ display which is of AMOLED type. The resolution that we can expect is FHD+. It is written as ‘AMOLED Dot display in the box, we will have to find out after the launch more about this Dot display tech. The device will boast a dual speaker setup offering stereo effect sound. There will be a main primary speaker driver on the bottom with the earpiece speaker driver acting as the secondary. The bottom driver will be handling bass tones while the top driver will be handling the mid and high tones. We can expect the overall sound quality to be pretty awesome.
The cameras are listed as quad and with the resolution of 48MP which is the primary sensor. Ultra wide and macro lenses are listed in the box, but we do not have the specific resolutions or more details on it currently. The front camera (expected to be 16MP) will be a cutout inside the display which will offer a new phone look rather than a notch. We can expect the primary camera to record 4K video @ 30fps. We can expect the phone to launch with at least 3 memory variants with 4, 6 and 8GB RAMs. Side mounted fingerprint scanner and wireless charging can also be expected.
The Redmi Note series has always been offering the big phone experience in a budget friendly price. This Redmi Note 10 will be no different. The predecessor, Redmi Note 9 was a pretty solid phone for the price it was offered. Redmi have aced the built quality and the MIUI experience is tailored and fine tuned to the extend that the fit and finish that it offers is close to the stock android experience. There will be no doubt that the Redmi note 10 series will be a perfect addition to the already strong selling series offering from Xiaomi. We will keep you updated with the details shortly after the launch, so stay close with us.
