We are waiting for a successor to the highly successful and awesome phone, the Galaxy A51. Now, some real images of the phone being held in hand have popped up online. The phone along with the retail box was pictured and it was leaked through a twitter account. From these pictures we can confirm that the Galaxy A52 will have a pinhole screen and a quad camera setup on the back. The quad camera setup is on a rectangular camera hump very similar to the S20 and S21 lineups. The main sensor is a 64MP one with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The phone also features an IP67 water and dust resistance rating.
In the past, Samsung has included these features on their midrange A series, but it was missing from some most recent A series phones. The image leaked suggests that the Galaxy A52 will ship with a charger. But we can expect some markets to miss out on it. The phone is expected to launch in two variants. A 5G variant and a 4G variant. The 5G variant will likely feature a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED screen. The processor will be the Snapdragon 750G. The 4G variant will likely have a 90Hz panel with the Snapdragon 720G. We can expect a display resolution of FHD+ with 6.5 inches.
The main 64MP primary camera sensor will mostly be accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide module, a 5MP macro unit and a 5MP depth sensor. The specs leaked suggests that the phone will boast a 4,500 mAh battery which supports 25W fast charging. The selfie camera is a 32MP unit. Fingerprint reader will be of under display type which optically reads the fingerprint. NFC will be available and the phone will reportedly run android 11 with Samsung’s skin One UI on top.
The phone is expected to come in four color options. Awesome White, Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, and Awesome Violet. The leaked black phone looks very similar to the matte black Galaxy S21 Ultra. The phone is expected to come with two memory and storage options. 6GB RAM/128GB storage and 8GB/256GB. A micro SD card slot will be available for memory expansion. The 4G only version is expected to cost around €349 and the 5G version is expected to start at €429. We should see the unveiling of the phone by this month end.
