Realme 12+ 5G Launch Date, Design, Colourways Confirmed; India Launch Officially

It has been confirmed that the Realme 12+ 5G will launch shortly. The smartphone’s launch date in Malaysia, where the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G will also make its debut, has been announced by the Chinese manufacturer. The Realme 12+ 5G’s design and colour options have been made public ahead of launch.

In a different development, Realme has hinted at the phone’s impending arrival in the Indian market. It’s important to remember that last month saw the introduction of the Realme 12 Pro 5G and Realme 12 Pro+ 5G in India. The company is currently planning to introduce the Realme 12+ 5G to the nation’s families. Additionally, a vanilla Realme 12 5G model is anticipated, though there has been no formal announcement on this.

In a Facebook post, Realme Malaysia declared that the Realme 12+ 5G and the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G will be released in the nation on February 29. Preorders for the phones will be accepted in Malaysia from February 16 through February 29. Similar in design to the Realme 12 Pro models that were unveiled in India earlier this year, the Realme 12+ 5G model is being teased in beige and green colorways.

Concurrently, the Realme 12+ 5G microsite launched on the company’s Indian website. The page confirms the “One More Plus” model while omitting the name and making a hint about the Realme 12+ 5G model. There’s also a hint of a green faux leather finish and “unseen 12 upgrades.”

Battery & Display

A MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC has previously been predicted to be included with the Realme 12+ 5G. It is possible that the RAM capacities will be 6GB, 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB. The onboard storage capacities will probably be 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. It is also expected that the phone will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED full-HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) screen. There could be a 5,000mAh battery inside the Realme smartphone. Its dimensions are probably 162.95 x 75.45 x 7.87 mm, and its weight is probably 190g.

Cameras

The Realme 12+ 5G is anticipated to have three cameras on its rear panel: a 2-megapixel macro shooter, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel primary sensor. It is anticipated that the front camera will have a 16-megapixel sensor. In the meantime, the model’s worldwide version is probably going to have two rear cameras: an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a 64-megapixel primary sensor.
