Today, we gonna be going through a dangerous pandemic era which also spread day today in our locality and also the scarcity of oxygen also another facing problem in our society. Here we gonna be making an oxygen machine which also more helpful in entire pandemic era. lets see what it takes, The first thing you need is a big bottle or bucket such a sweet bottle like that. Now you need a small bottle to put the oxygen out to collect it.
We are going to produce the oxygen here through electrolysis. The ingredients are sodium hydroxide pellets which priced at around 250 rupees per 500 gram. the next one is two-electrode, negative and positive, are using here which made with steel. All of you need to do is use an object like a steel nail or rod. The next one is an indicator bottle to look at the bubbles coming in and make sure oxygen is coming.
All we need now is face mask which makes with a bottle and fit your face that bottle mask. The next required item is the power supply and you can use adapter power which supply gets 12V 2A. Lets do the experiment. Initially take a water bottle by removing the bottom of the bottle to collect the oxygen. After the setup of the oxygen chamber, we do this by electrolysis. The electrolysis doing in a liquid made by dissolving sodium hydroxide in the water.
Two electrodes are used here, the anode and cathode. Oxygen comes to the anode and hydrogen to the cathode. The positive electrode should be inserted inside the oxygen chamber which made that mentioned before this. We can use any plastic or glass material to hold this electrode inside.Then the anode fixes with plastic material and put into the oxygen chamber with connecting wire.
A lid made of multiword is made for a large bottle which mentioned before. Then our oxygen chamber should be attached to the lid. Apply a little glue stick to prevent oxygen leakage. Put a hole on the lid to take connecting wires outside. Apply some glue stick to fix the carhode connecting wire. Put two holes on the lid of the indicator bottle to input and output for the oxygen. The pipe to be attached to the lid of the oxygen chamber is ready.
