KSBCDC – Kerala State Backward Classes Development Corporation Ltd is a Private Limited Company wholly owned by the Government of Kerala that was incorporated under the Companies Act 1956 on February 28, 1995, with its registered office in Thiruvananthapuram. The Corporation is also a Non-Banking Finance Company, registered with the Reserve Bank of India in the Non-Deposit Taking Systemically Important Category. The Corporation maintains offices in each of the State’s 14 districts, as well as 20 Taluk-level Sub District offices. Our Mission is “Freedom from Poverty and Backwardness” for the targeted communities in Kerala.
It has taken a more professional approach to its work than other government firms in the same field. It has been able to virtually completely computerize its operations, allowing for online supervision. We have also collaborated with the State Bank of India and South Indian Bank to arrange a facility for loan repayment by recipients.
