TAFCOP : A trustable app to check how many sim connections in your IDT in 2024

Customers can now check all mobile SIMs registered with their Aadhaar numbers on a new portal called Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection (TAFCOP), which was introduced by the Department of Telecom (DoT).

A mobile subscriber can find out how many mobile connections have been made in their name by using the Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection (TAFCOP) portal. According to the data on the Sanchar Saathi page, it also makes it easier to report any mobile connections that the subscriber has not used or that are not necessary.

  • An SMS will be sent to a mobile customer who has more than nine connections. After then, by logging into the portal, he or she can take action.
  • Through the TAFCOP portal, a person can report any suspicious activity on his or her mobile connection. All customers need to do is use the given Ticket ID Ref No to follow the status of their online complaint submission.
  • An individual can use the “request status” tool after logging into the portal to see the status of their requests. They will need to supply a “Ticket ID Ref No.” in order to achieve this.
  • Previously issued mobile numbers that are no longer in use can be blocked or deactivated by mobile subscribers.
  • In order to find out how many mobile numbers are active and inactive, subscribers can use the TAFCOP portal.

  • Initially, go to https://tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in, the official website.
  • After choosing your cellphone number, click “Request OTP.”
  • Verify the OTP, then send in the application.
  • You can look up the cell phone numbers linked to your Aadhaar card.
  • You can submit your report after selecting the numbers that are not in your name or are not required.

How to Check Your Connection Status

  • Visit the website at https://tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in/index.php.
  • After entering your mobile number, click the “Request OTP” option.
  • To verify, input the OTP and select “Validate.”
  • Check how many mobile connections are associated with your name.

How to Download

The official authorities have not yet released the TAF-COP App, therefore applicants wishing to download it will have to wait a while.Steps are below:

  • Go to the official website of the TAF COP Portal.
  • Select the “TAF COP App Download” option from the webpage.
  • You’ll then be taken to the Play Store after that.
  • The Google Play store is another place you can look for the software.
  • Then, press the Install button on the right.
  • The TAF-COP App has now been installed successfully.
