Today, Royal Enfield introduced the Shotgun 650 to the world’s consumers, with a starting price of Rs 3,59,430 (ex-showroom) in India. The company initially unveiled the bike for the European market.While bookings for India begin today, the Shotgun 650 will be available for test rides and deliveries in India from March 2024.

Beginning in the spring of 2024, the motorcycle will be available in the Americas and Asia-Pacific (APAC).The SG650 Concept, which debuted at EICMA 2021, served as inspiration for the SG650 Concept.The Shotgun 650, which is built on the 650 Twin platform, uses a 648cc, 4-stroke, SOHC, parallel twin air engine.The engine is matched with a 6-speed gearbox and then the Shotgun 650 has a stated mileage of 22 kmpl.

The new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 has a steel tubular spine frame. USD forks are on the front of it.USD forks are located in front, and twin shocks are located in back. Both the front and rear alloy wheels, measuring eighteen inches and seventeen inches respectively, are equipped with tubeless tyres.The bike also features a dual-channel ABS system.

Four colour options will be available for the new Shotgun 650: Sheet Metal Grey, Plasma Blue, Green Drill, and Stencil White. It comes equipped with an LED headlamp, an LED taillamp, and a digi-analogue instrument cluster that houses the Tripper navigation system. The motorcycle has a distinctive appearance due to its single floating seat. Lastly the bike includes the recently released Royal Enfield Wingman, a brand-new in-app feature ;that, among other things, alerts you to the motorcycle’s live location, fuel and engine oil levels, and service reminders.
