Fronx
In just ten months, the Fronx accomplished this remarkable milestone, making it the fastest car in India to do so. It also triumphed over the Grand Vitara, which finished the same task in a year.”The first three months after the launch (of the Fronx) saw some issues with semiconductor supplies, which makes this milestone even more significant for us,” said Srivastava.
According to him, the Fronx helped us become the leading SUV manufacturer in H1 FY24 in addition to helping us grow our market share.”Compared to the segment profile, about half of Fronx buyers are under 35. This is a significant difference. In addition, their average monthly household income is higher, and they are more prosperous. According to Srivastava, Fronx is more popular among first-time buyers who are also more likely to reside in cities.
Despite being the largest contributor to the total volume of passenger vehicles (PVs), Maruti anticipates that the SUV segment will plateau at roughly 54-55%.”We anticipate that mid-sized SUVs will account for 25% of sales, with entry-level SUVs accounting for 30%. Naturally, we’ll have to wait and see since new technologies are emerging and prices are changing at the same time, according to Srivastava.
