According to a senior company official, Maruti Suzuki India currently services almost two million vehicles each month through a vast network of over 4,900 workshops that span nearly 2,500 cities across the nation.

As of April 1, 2023, Maruti had 4,564 workshops spread over 2,304 cities. The service network grew to 4,907 workshops by February 1, 2024, spanning 2,486 cities and comprising 3,330 Arena workshops, 402 Nexa workshops, and 1,175 Maruti authorised service centres.

Maruti’s Senior Executive Officer for Service, Partho Banerjee, responded to an inquiry from India Today by saying: “We have added 343 service touchpoints this fiscal till February 1.” Every day, we are opening multiple service touchpoints.”

To serve customers in non-urban areas, the automaker has also introduced compact-format Nexa Service workshops. Currently, Ooty (Tamil Nadu), Bankura (West Bengal), Dahod (Gujarat), Ateli (Haryana), Charkhi Dadri (Haryana), and Nirmal (Telangana) are home to six of these facilities.

Approximately thirty percent of Nexa cars on the market are found in non-urban areas. We have created a new concept, the compact-format Nexa Service workshop, for non-urban cities with all the features found in the larger Nexa workshops in urban cities in order to give customers a premium service experience,” Banerjee stated
